Minale at Delhaize Food Market!
Eating better also starts with making better food more appealing. To support Delhaize in its ambition to showcase fresh fruit and vegetables, Minale Design Strategy has created a new approach to the department, unveiled at the Delhaize Food Market.
Putting the product centre stage
The concept rethinks the displays to give more space to the products, their colours and their diversity. Loose fruit and vegetables become part of the décor themselves, in a warm and abundant environment that invites customers to browse, choose and create. An approach in which the architecture and fixtures take a step back, allowing fresh produce to take centre stage and naturally contributing to a better-eating experience.
Keeping things naturally fresh
The concept goes beyond presentation to help preserve the produce itself. Integrated into the design, a misting system releases an extremely fine mist that helps prevent fruit and vegetables from drying out without making them wet. It helps maintain their freshness while visually reinforcing the impression of a vibrant, abundant produce department.
An experience designed to encourage better eating
More than simply new fixtures, every detail of the concept serves the same purpose: making fruit and vegetables more visible, more appealing and more inspiring every day, in line with Delhaize’s ambition to encourage greater consumption of fresh produce. The concept has already been tested in the Alsemberg, Machelen, Ixelles and Ghent stores.
