For over 40 years, Investsud has supported Walloon SMEs through the defining moments of their development. A recognised player in regional finance, the organisation has gradually expanded its role, moving beyond financial investment to become a true strategic partner to entrepreneurs. This evolution called for a brand that better reflected its ambition and its way of supporting businesses. Investsud becomes ORSA, a brand designed to reveal the full value of its commitment alongside Walloon entrepreneurs.

Challenge

Investsud faced a growing gap between its image and the reality of its role. Its name, strongly associated with its historical activity and regional roots, no longer reflected its position as a long-term entrepreneurial partner. Over the years, the organisation had developed a distinctive approach based on proximity, strategic guidance and patient investment. More than an investor, Investsud acts as a committed partner, sharing the ambitions, challenges and risks of entrepreneurs. Yet this unique positioning remained largely invisible through the existing brand. The challenge was therefore to create an identity capable of expressing this evolution while preserving the credibility the organisation had built with entrepreneurs over the years.

Solution

The project was built around an in-depth strategic reflection aimed at clarifying the organisation’s positioning and brand foundations. This process led to the formalisation of its purpose: ‘Co-creator of value’. A commitment to creating value not only economically, but also on a human and societal level. This reflection led to the creation of a new name, ORSA, derived from the Latin verb ordior, meaning to undertake. Short, distinctive and meaningful, it reflects the ambition to stand alongside those who dare to grow, transform or pass on their businesses.

The new brand is built on a strong conviction: success is achieved collectively. The signature ‘Dare Together’ embodies this vision. It reflects the long-term relationship between ORSA and entrepreneurs, built on commitment, proximity and trust.

An entrepreneurial name

ORSA represents far more than a name change. It reflects a shift in mindset. Derived from the Latin verb meaning to undertake, ORSA expresses movement, initiative and boldness. A simple, memorable and universal name, designed to support the ambitions of entrepreneurs.

An identity inspired by entrepreneurial momentum

The visual identity was designed as an expression of this dynamic. The symbol evokes movement, progress and the drive behind every entrepreneurial journey. Combined with a bright palette dominated by yellow, it projects a positive and approachable brand.

Two areas of expertise, one purpose

The brand architecture is structured around two complementary pillars: Industry and Innovation. This organisation highlights the company’s historical expertise while improving the clarity of its offering. Each entity retains its own specificity while benefiting from the strength and consistency of a shared brand.

Revealing the approach

ORSA has also helped bring to light what makes the organisation unique. A level of involvement that extends from financial expertise to strategic guidance, forming an integral part of its value proposition. The new brand fully reveals this presence alongside entrepreneurs, both in times of success and in moments of uncertainty.
